MANJANADI: The annual cultural festival, ‘Sharafiyya Art Fiesta-2k25′, of Al Madina PU College for Girls and Sharaf Degree College for Girls, functioning under the Al Madina Islamic Complex, concluded on Wednesday after three days of events, held from December 1st to 3rd.
A total of 44 diverse competitions were conducted among the students, who were divided into three teams: Fihriyya, Khaysiyya, and Misriyya.
Team and Individual Honours
The Khaysiyya team, led by Fathima Sana Farangipete and Khadeeja Niha Thoke, emerged as the Champions.
The Misriyya team, led by Ayishath Rizwana Manjanadi and Nafeesa Sana Kalminja, secured the Second Place.
The Fihriyya team, led by Khadeeja Nusaiba Urumane and Fathimath Muniza Thaudugoli, secured the Third Place.
Second PU student Khadeeja Niha was crowned the Individual Champion, while First PU student Aminath Hanoona Morla achieved the Second Champion position.
Inauguration and Presence
The event was inaugurated by Abdul Khadir Saqafi, the General Secretary of the Al Madina Islamic Complex.
Dignitaries present included Executive Director Muhammad Kunhi Amjadi, Academic Director Abooswalih Azhari, Senior Staff Abdurrazaque Navoor, Headmaster of Al Madina English Medium School Mansoor Himami, Principal of the Degree College Shamseer, Teacher Hafiz Shamsuddin Naeemi, and Office Chief Abdul Khader Zuhri.
The judging panel for the various competitions included Safida Al Mahira Nachchabettu, former Head of the Sharia Department at Kabaka KGN She Campus; Shahida Al Fazila Patrakodi, a Madrasa teacher at Mitturu Naurathul Madina English Medium School; and Fathimathunnisa Al Fazila Patrakodi.
Mrs. Sangeetha, Principal of Al Madina Girls’ PU College, was present, along with lecturers Mrs. Chethana, Mrs. Sushma, Kumari Divya, Kumari Akshata, Dilshana Banu, and Ismath .
